Non-Discrimination and Accessibility Policy
Effective October 2, 2026
NexaHub Inc. serves people fairly. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, ethnicity, religion, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation and gender identity), age, disability, marital or family status, veteran status, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by law. This applies to who we serve in our programs, events and community, and to how we select board members, staff, volunteers, speakers, mentors and vendors.
- Eligibility is about the program, not the person. Where a program has criteria, such as household income limits for free tax help, we apply them the same way to everyone.
- Language access. We serve people in English and Russian. If you need help in another language, ask, and we will make reasonable efforts to arrange an interpreter at no cost to you.
- Disability access. We aim to make the Site usable with assistive technology (we work toward WCAG 2.1 level AA), and to hold events in accessible places or online. Tell us what you need, such as captions, large print or step-free access, and we will arrange a reasonable accommodation at no cost to you.
- Concerns and complaints. If you believe you were treated unfairly, write to us at the address below. Your complaint goes to the CEO, or to the Board Secretary if it concerns the CEO. We acknowledge it within 5 business days and give you a written answer within 30 days. We do not retaliate against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.
- Funders. If a government or other funder finances a program, you may also contact that funder about discrimination. We will tell you how.
The Board of Directors reviews this policy every year.
