Who is eligible
Anyone, anywhere in the world. You do not need to:
- be a US citizen
- be a US resident
- have lived in the United States
- have an existing US business or bank account
We help individuals at every stage — from first-time founders launching their idea to experienced entrepreneurs expanding into the US market.
What is billed separately
These are external mandatory costs — they go directly to the state or to third-party service providers, not to us, and cannot be waived. We share the exact amounts up front.
Live in the US? You can be your own registered agent and use your home address. In that case, no address rental or agent fees — your total is just $1 + state filing fee.
From year two: most states charge a small annual report fee ($50–$300).
Why so cheap
Nexa Hub is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the United States (EIN 93‑4064719). Our mission is to remove the barriers that stop talented entrepreneurs from building businesses in the US.
The key to our model: we partner with US CPAs and law firms that agreed to consult our participants for free or at a minimal price — within their capacity. Services that cost hundreds or thousands of dollars at commercial providers are accessible almost for free through us.
The $1 registration fee is symbolic — just enough to make it a real, legal commercial transaction rather than an empty obligation.
Our work is funded by donations from successful alumni, grants, and partners who share our mission. If your business grows, you can support the next founder — but you are never obligated to.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to visit the USA?
No. The entire process can be completed remotely from anywhere in the world. All documents are signed electronically.
How long does it take?
Usually 1 to 4 weeks for incorporation. Getting your EIN takes additional time — typically 1 week if you have an SSN/ITIN, or 4–8 weeks otherwise.
Which state should I incorporate in?
The most popular states for foreign founders are Delaware, Wyoming and Florida. We recommend the best state for your specific business during your free consultation.
Will I become a US tax resident if I open a company?
No. Owning a US company does not make you a US tax resident. Tax residency depends on your physical presence and immigration status, not on company ownership. We will explain the tax implications during your free consultation with a CPA.
What does it cost exactly?
Our part is a symbolic $1 for the entire registration (no hidden fees). On top of that you pay mandatory external costs: state filing fee ($50–$300, one-time), business address rental ($10–$30/mo, only if you don't have a US address), registered agent ($50–$150/yr, only if you don't have a US address). If you live in the US and use your home address, only the state filing fee is required.
What about LLC vs C-Corp — which is right for me?
It depends on your goals. LLCs are simpler and better for service businesses or single-owner companies. C-Corps are required if you plan to raise venture capital or have multiple investors. We will help you decide on the call.
Are CPA and attorney consultations really free?
We don't deliver CPA or legal services ourselves (we are a nonprofit, not an accounting or law firm). What we have built is a network of US CPA and law firms that agreed to consult our participants for free or at a minimal price — within their capacity. A one-hour CPA consultation on the market costs $200–$500, an attorney $300–$700. Through us, it's either free or a symbolic amount.
Do you help with opening a US bank account?
Yes, we provide guidance. We cannot open the account for you (the bank requires you to apply directly), but we share the list of banks and fintech services (Mercury, Relay, Wise, Chase) that work with non-resident founders, the documents you will need, and the step-by-step process.
